Wayne was a good dad to Frances Ann, Wayne W. (Billy) & Laura Mae. He worked at Inland Steel as a Minor. Wayne was a life time member of the Spanger Fire Compay. I remember as a child going to the Fire Convensions with my Pappy and he was always so loving and kind buying things for me. He would buy pull off tickets at the different booths just so I could win stuff, one time I won $25.00 at the pull off BINGO and when I went to give him the money he told me, "It's your money. It was your ticket, buy something nice." He was the best Grandfather anyone could ever want, my brother Wayne and sister Sarah and my cousin Susan would all agree with me. There wasn't anything that we could ever need that he would not provide for us.
The Great Grandchildren who are Wayne & Sarah's Kids are too young so I don't think they will remember pappy when they are older, but just know this Laken, Catrinea and Megan; Pappy Wayne Loved you very much. Remy never will meet pappy but man pappt would have loved him.
I love you and Miss you Pappy - Regina .
Daughter, Mother, Grandmother and Greatgrandmother.

The Pictures are of a young Lois Fletcher Winters. This is the way I see my Grandmother in my dreams. She looks like an angel. Lois was a good Mom and a great Grandma, I always loved going to her house. There were times when I got there I didn't want to leave. She was a religious woman and alway kept me on the right path. When I got older and had something bothering me, Grandma was the first person I would call. She always knew what to say to make it all better.
The Picture of Wayne B. Winters; shows him as i will always remember him, throughout his years he never seemed to age. I have been looking though pictures of when my mom was younger and pappy looks the same in those pictures as he did on his last days. I sware he was an angel sent from heaven, only an angel would keep his youth even in his last days.
I love you gram. I hope you found pappy and are very happy. I miss you both very much.
Love always, Regina
Wayne & Lois Winters
Below is a picture of Wayne & Lois, they look so happy together. I hope that I can be as happy with Mike as Grandma and Pappy were. We Miss You Grandma & Pappy but wherever you are we know you are together with Jesus and are happy. We are awaiting the day when we can all be together again;
Until We Meet:
How blessed is the tie that binds
Our hearts in lasting love,
The comradeship of kindred minds
Is like to that above
So when at last we have to part
In sorrow and in pain,
We know we still are
Joined in heart
Until we meet again.
